1. Who we are

HeyBeez is operated by Cloudberry Solutions (“HeyBeez”, “we”, “us”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and share personal data when you use the HeyBeez website, mobile apps, and related services (together, the “Service”).

2. Scope

This policy applies to accounts on HeyBeez, community membership, messaging, listings, directories, shops, help requests, and other features available in the Service. By using HeyBeez, you agree to this Privacy Policy.

3. Data we collect

Depending on how you use HeyBeez, we may collect:

  • Account & contact info: name, email address, phone number, physical address, and other contact details you provide.
  • Profile & work info: photo, bio, job/company/industry details, and other profile fields you choose to share.
  • Location: coarse location (such as city or area labels) and, where you enable it, precise location (such as map coordinates) for community and listing features.
  • User content: messages, posts, photos, videos, listings, help requests, shop content, and other content you create or upload.
  • Identifiers & usage: account/user ID, search queries within the app, and technical logs needed to operate and secure the Service.
  • Device security on device: optional Face ID / fingerprint unlock uses the device’s secure enclave. Biometric templates are not sent to HeyBeez servers.

4. How we use data

We use personal data to:

  • Create and manage your account and communities
  • Provide core features (feed, chat, directory, listings, maps, shops, help tools)
  • Show relevant community content and enable member discovery within approved communities
  • Communicate service notices (security, account, and product updates)
  • Prevent fraud, abuse, and spam; enforce community rules
  • Comply with law and respond to lawful requests

We do not sell your personal data. We do not use your data for tracking across other companies’ apps or websites for third-party advertising.

5. Sharing

We may share data with:

  • Other community members, according to your privacy settings and the features you use (for example profile, directory, posts, chat).
  • Service providers that help us host, store, deliver email, or process data under contract (processors), only as needed to run HeyBeez.
  • Authorities, when required by law or to protect rights, safety, and security.

6. Retention

We keep personal data while your account is active and as needed to provide the Service, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and meet legal obligations. You may request deletion of your account; some residual records may remain where required by law or for legitimate security/audit purposes.

7. Security

We use technical and organizational measures appropriate to the risk (including encrypted transport via HTTPS and access controls). No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; please use a strong unique password and protect your devices.

8. Your choices & rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to:

  • Access, correct, or update your account information in Profile settings
  • Control location and contact visibility settings where offered
  • Request a copy of your data, restriction, or deletion
  • Object to certain processing, or withdraw consent where processing is consent-based
  • Lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority

To exercise rights, email privacy@heybeez.com. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling a request.

9. Children

HeyBeez is not directed to children under 13 (or the higher age required in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided data, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.

10. International transfers

HeyBeez may process data in the European Economic Area and other countries where our service providers operate. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers.

11. Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page and revise the “Last updated” date. Material changes may be communicated in-app or by email where appropriate.
